The GP2M F1 aiming goniometer was developed to equip the 81mm LLR F1 mortar, used by the French armed forces. It enables day and night aiming of the mortar in both elevation and azimuth.

Features
Designed for 81mm and 120mm artillery mortars and cannons up to 155m, two versions are available based on the magnification of the scope and the range of elevation movement. It is used by the French armed forces as well as several other countries.
• Endurance: field qualification for over 2500 firings with 18.7 kg shells.
• Day and night use thanks to its integrated lighting system.
• The scope is set to infinity with no parallax and is equipped with a reticle engraved with a graduated cross every 10 mils on the horizontal axis, thicker vertically, partly to enhance night vision.

• The aiming goniometer is mounted directly on the dovetail support of the weapon.
