Elynxo’s optronic equipment acclaimed by the 21st Marine Infantry Regiment
After intensive theoretical and practical training, twelve marines from the 21st Marine Infantry Regiment validated their proficiency in firing the 120mm mortar, a new capability for the 21st. The firing session with a “reducer” shell enabled them to master this weapon successfully, using a non-explosive smoke munition.
The GP2M aiming goniometer allows day and night aiming of the mortar in elevation and azimuth. Its compact size and design enable it to remain attached to the mortar throughout the firing sequence.
